EM Painline Adviser, Paula Tanabe, receives NIH K23 award

Paula Tanabe, PhD of Northwestern University, has received an NIH K23 award for her project "A Decision Support Tool for Adult Sickle Cell Emergency Department patients." Sickle cell emergency department research is much needed within the specialty. This research will advance both knowledge and efforts to improve the care for those with sickle cell disease.
